The Big Friendly Read – Summer Reading Challenge 2016

Come and see what Conwy County Libraries have to offer your children and you by bringing them to join this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, ‘The Big Friendly Read’, FREE to all children between the ages of 4-12 years.

Summer Reading Challenge

All over the UK, libraries are celebrating 100 years of the world’s favourite storyteller, Roald Dahl. ‘The Big Friendly Read’ is your child’s chance to join in those celebrations. Children are asked to read any six library books of their choice between 16th July and 17th September. Each child will receive a special folder and collector cards (some are scratch ‘n’sniff!) and when they complete the challenge they will receive a certificate and a medal.
